My intent around creating this website is to try to preserve a piece of what I love about the internet, to provide information on games I think are cool and to share some resources I've found interesting. My earliest memories of computers and the internet in general started in the early 90's as the technology was just evolving.

Since this time, many of the technologies we interact with on a daily basis have now been structured as machines with the sole purpose of generating revenue. Very few sites are just focused on the cataloging and sharing of information, instead they are created in a way to drive engagement, push content and make money from ads and other avenues. While I recognize this is a legitiment business model and a reality of the world, I wanted to create something different.

This site will never:

• Have ads that take up more space than the content
• Utilize AI tools to generate text, images, or underlying code
• Promote discords or other avenues of engagement without benefit to a larger community and a transparent approach
• Create content with the solo goal of generating clicks, engagement or any sort of other metrics beyond "cool stuff to read and reference"
• Not provide reference to and recognition for any other creators whose works are referenced or linked
